There’s no conspiracy
Regarding the column Hot and bothered over climate (July 14).

Peter Worthington’s column is so full of misinformation that a full rebuttal is not possible – but 1934 was not the hottest year of the past century and we know a lot about the climate.

Lawrence Solomon, Lorrie Goldstein and Worthington like to believe that there is an international conspiracy led by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Is it really possible that governments as diverse as the United States, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Russia, China, India and others would be together in a conspiracy or support the IPCC in one – a conspiracy that continued from 1988 until the present, through, for example, the U.S. administrations of two Bushes and a Clinton?

Nonsense and insulting to me and many others.
